so I moved from Louisiana to Connecticut two years ago (yes culture shock). Anyway, I had a 21 foot Key west with a 150 yamaha on it that I would take on a river on the northshore and on Lake Pontchartrain. I sold it before i moved and am now in the market for a new boat. I found a good deal on a 2018 AR240 and really love the look. It would mostly be used in lakes in CT and NY with an occasional trip to little towns on the Sound or rivers. I am new to jet boats and want to make sure its the right decision. It will be used for water sports and cruising for meals and site seeing. will it be hard to adjust moving to jet boats? i am making an offer on it tomorrow but need reassurance!!
also with a 2018 what warranty is left, is it transferable and finally should/can i buy and extension?

@KrodWhodat thAt boat will Be just fine for what you are looking to do. There would only be extended warranty left if it was purchased by the previous owner.
It will be a bit of a change getting used to the jet. My wife is having a hard time with it as she grew up driving an I/o, it just takes practice.
I say go for it if the boat is in good shape!
