I’m in the process of trying to finalize a purchase a ‘17 chaparral vrx. My question, the owner doesn’t know, does this boat have twin 200s or twin 250s. However, I’m not sure where I need to look to see if it has an inter cooler. Can anyone help me out? I’m new to jet boats so I’m learning on the fly. Please help. This is the only pic I have. Is there a tag on the motor that shows the power output? It will be in kW, divide that number by 746 to give approx HP.

@Streetsnake FYI, your boat uses the same engines as Scarabs. So if/when you have questions, it's a good idea to post in that section to get more Scarab people looking at them. But obviously there's a lot of expertise among the larger group as well, but it's predominantly Yamaha as they hold a much bigger market share.

Could pull the HIN and reach out to manufacturer.
