help,

reinsalling the carburators soon but want to change the studs, I'm having some issues finding them available, looking for part Mercury Mercruiser Marine - STUD (#16-270372) ideas of who would have some available right away? was hoping to get to use the boat this weekend...

thank you in advance for any help.

I don't have the answer you seek, but if the thread is common you might consider heading to ACE or other local stainless steel bolt seller and purchasing a long bolt and a nut, threading the nut, then cutting the bolt and using the nut as a tap to repair the cut. May not be the exact solution you are looking for, but an idea if the right part does not appear in time.

If the measurements are known you might look at a local Stainless Steel hardware or Auto parts place.

Desperate measures, but something to consider If you can't get the part in time.

The other "hacked" possibility depending on access is a smaller bolt and nuts on both ends and lots of loctite.

Crazy things I may or may not have done to save a weekend in the past.
