On the water... port engine has a high pitch whine... never been there before... still runs at full throttle... and smooth.. but is a new sound... nothing in clean out port of in the nozzle that I can find... sounds like it is coming from the rear area... maybe the pump area... still had thrust and power.... scratching my head..
Intermediate is a box right behind the engine. It is where you lube, so it should have a zerk on it. Actually, I think the 2008 have a hose from it up to a zerk above the engine.

It's not a common issue, I would disconnect the zerk hose and pump some new grease through it until it comes out the end and then reconnect the hose and give it a few more pumps to see how it sounds, just trying to do easy, inexpensive trouble shooting first,
have you pulled your impellers lately? maybe pull them and run the engine to see if the whine is still there,
