glad to have you on board, are you familiar with 2 strokes? one of the first things you should do is make sure the oil lines have been upgraded

Congrats @karstman7 on the new boat and welcome to the site.

I agree with @Scottintexas, there's a few minor things to check on All used boats. But overlooking the oil lines on the two strokes can have massive consequences if they fail. So make sure to give those a look. There was also something about the exhaust/water boxes that can cause damage to the hull if some dampeners are missing. But I'm not sure if that would apply to your model. Anyway, I'm sure guys that have/or currently own your exact model will have better advice on exactly what to look for.

Thanks everybody for the warm welcome! I've always used forums to learn about and customize my cars - thinking my experience will be the same here!
Regarding the oil lines - I mentioned it to my local Yamaha shop and they gave me a strange look and said "they would check them" but I ordered a replacement line kit from island racing and will tackle it myself. Thanks for the heads up! Jealous of some of the nice boats on here!
