Hello,

I have a 2009 Yamaha AR210 twin-engine boat. When I bought the boat used 2 years ago, the dealer told me both engines had 184 hours on them. I am getting ready to sell my boat and I am not sure how to check the engine hours. There is nothing on the dash that tells me. (Not in the gauges like some models). Does anyone know how to check the hours on my boat? Thank you in advance for any help.

Have to get the YDS software for a laptop and then hook it to the diagnostic cable on the boat in the engine compartment. Or go to a dealer that will read it for you if you have one close!

You can get the YDS and cable on ebay for around $50-$60, but that's not going to help if you need the hours quickly. Maybe post your location and ask if there's a member close that can read the hours for you. Another option besides the dealer is a PWC repair shop will have the YDS.

I have a dealer about 30 min away. I'm going to go get it serviced soon. I'll ask them to check when I get it done. Thank you for the feedback.
