How to replace steering plate?

I'm a bonehead and tried to back my 2018 AR195 up my inclined driveway. In doing so, I broke the steering plate. I have found the part and will order it, but I can not figure out how to remove the pin/bolt that will hold it in place. Does anyone have advice on this or a link to a video on how to do that?

That’s a snap ring. You can buy snap ring pliers at Harbor Freight or any tool place. Remove snap ring and pin should come right out ?
