I got to visit "Naut on Call" today at the dealer. Should be ready Friday!!

Naut on Call looks great, congratulations. With Friday being less than 24 hours away you must be excited and probably ultra prepared to hit the water for the first time. Good luck and don't forget to have fun.

Yeah, I plan on having her in the water an hour after picking her up then all weekend long!

Sounds great, hopefully new boat dealers are a lot like new car dealers and will fill the fuel tank when you pick it up. If you haven't already considered it, don't forget to fill the fresh water tank or have your dealer do it.

So here is a kinda cool thing tidbit. I actually really helped the dealer out (they should give me a tip, LOL). So I'm sure that some of you remember I originally ordered a black 242LS. Well the dealer tells me today that they originally got an allotment of 14 Yamaha boats for the whole year (this is their first year as a Yamaha dealer). Well as it turns out they got an "extra" black 242LS (after I changed the color to blue)!! Pretty cool I thought. They are also a Supra, Malibu, Moomba and Bennington Pontoon dealer. They said that they sold 7 of their 14 Yamahas at the boat show and that without a doubt (even in their first year) Yamaha is hands down their best seller. Further, they said that it was the larger, higher end Yamahas that were in highest demand. I know that Yamahas are the best selling boats in the country, but it was really interesting to hear the dealer perspective and the fact that they were so pleasantly surprised themselves with the high demand for Yamahas.
We LOVE our Yacht blue MISS B'HAVEN ! Wishing you the very Best. We remember how thrilled we were when we heard "She's on her way to your home !"

looks nice which tower speakers are those? Your boat looks like my boats Twin!

Wetsounds...not sure of the model number. I have it it here somewhere...just glad to finally see the boat that they are hanging from!

@primedoc are you going to upgrade the cabin speakers as well to wetsounds or leave them stock polks?

Leave it stock for now. The dealer discouraged doing that until I heard what it all sounds like with the amp and additional speakers. They say I will sound pretty good just with these upgrades.

They are correct there. Those speakers really wake up when you put an amp too them.

Is Yamaha putting Polk's in the newer boats now? If so, they obviously got that idea from all of us JBers who changed them out to Polks.

@jcyamaharider that's a huge improvement. I'm not a stereo guy by any means, but we love our Polk DB's. They were a huge improvement over the stock ones in our '07. Thanks for keeping me current

Lol no problem, now I need to get curent and upgrade my stock interior speakers. Looking at the polk mm651's or the db's

If you go with the mm's then you should put an amp behind them too. They like power behind them.

I already have an amp to the stock speakers. Those actually really woke up when I put some power to them also.

Boat has 3 amps, 2 12" subs and 2 6 1/2 tower speakers. Those are getting upgraded next year.

I like the irony.....the wall of props!.....:winkingthumbsup"

I loved my Stock polks too but i'm still changing them out for 3 pairs of wetsounds XS650's( i'm wierd about everything matching, lol). If anyone is looking for 3 pairs of 10 month old Polks PM me, I'll let them go cheap. also have 1 pair brand new polk tower tweeters still in box.

Awesome, my kind of music too! Unfortunately, my wife and kids don't concur with my choice of music. My fault for marrying someone 6 years younger than me I guess. Katy Perry and Jason Derulio are growing on me, NOT! lol.

Anyways glad it all worked out for you.
