I want JL 8.8 tower speakers, but not the price

I was wondering if anyone else has bought the 8.8 speaker from JL and put it in an aftermarket tower box. or is that even possible. I don’t know if they sell the speaker separate, but if I can save money by not using their box, then I will do so.

JL stuff is designed to work with their own enclosures. You gotta pay to play. You could probably save a few bucks and pull it off, but might as well spend the money and get the real thing. If you want to save some money, there are lots of other brands that sound just as good for cheaper.

You can buy the m6 alone for $720 just the cans not necesarily work the way its suppose as @Adrian said.
