I used this yesterday while smoking a ham. It is very cool and allows you to monitor your grill from your ipad or iphone with alerts.

It is like Sonos is to music, NEST is to the thermostat, and Intsteon is to home automation.

I have a second gen for sale if anyone is interested. Works great, but I upgraded to a device that is a blower that also has a temp control.

That looks pretty cool. I don't know how I missed this when @4x15mph originally posted it. My wife loves cooking and loves her iPhones even more. Maybe This would make a good stocking stuffer.
