Might be switching it up, going to look at a 2012 Malibu LSV 23 in the next couple of days. Anyone been on one before? I've been checking out the Malibu forum lately and I have to say it's pretty lame compared to this one. If anyone is in the market for a loaded 2009 SX230 in beautiful Canada red, contact me.fullsizeoutput_305.jpeg

Wow. . . not a single person replied to this thread . . . What did you wind up doing?

I love my buddy's Malibu LSV 23. On it all the time.

His brothers Air Nautique is way better though.

I've contemplated switching but the older models were really set up for wakeboarding and not surfing. If you don't surf it might not be important.

I've spent a fair amount of time on two LSV23s, one a 2003 and the other a 2017. Both were very nice boats. As noted, anything older than about 2015 probably isn't equipped with a surf system from the factory but would almost certainly have some form of speed control. Wakeboard wake is very, very good. Once set up for surfing, they surf very well too.

My buddy's 2012 23LSV surfs just fine, with all ballast plumbed off the existing pumps. Just push a button amd go...

Ha forgot about this thread. No wonder since no replies for a year.

The boat actually disappointed me a little and wasn't in the condition or cared for like the owner said. The owner was a real ass which realy turned me off. I still have and love my yammi but sometimes I wish I had some of the bells and whistles the new boats have, just not sure I want to fork over the money for them.

Thanks for digging up this old thread.
