Inconsiderate boaters

Went boating on Sunday and was reminded once again why I like to take days off during the week for boating. Holy crap.

The day started with a moron in a pontoon boat anchored cross-ways in the channel under a bridge. Must have been a good fishing spot. Luckily it's a wide bridge and there was room to go around, but all you'd need is a few more of those idiots to completely block the way.

What the heck are these people thinking anyway? They can SEE there are other boats around them.

The rest of the day wasn't TOO bad all things considered, but when we got back to the ramp we saw a major parade of idiots. I wound up just "flying a holding pattern" for a while until the morons cleared out. It wasn't worth getting tangled up with 'em.

@Ronnie With regards to people coming in It's your responsibility under the law which would differ from location to location. You wouldn't want to break the law or cause injury or damage to prove a point. With that being said you also wouldn't have to be the most courteous either. As I get older I just mutter "what a jerk" and go somewhere else and avoid conflict. 25 years ago or so I would have gotten into a confrontation.
