Install a battery charger

I have the following Noco 3500 battery charger: https://no.co/g3500

Can I install this on the boat and then use a thru hull outlet so that it is permanently in place versus me hooking it up to the battery manually? I just wasn't sure if there are specific marine chargers or on-board charger considerations versus this version that I have.
