Installed Thrust Vectors

The Thrust Vectors was a good add to my boat. It really makes a difference at low speeds. Great investment I must say.

Did you tighten down on the spring side allen head so the metal washer doesn't spin? My washer spins freely there because I felt like I was starting to crank down pretty hard.

@Slfmde if the spring side bolt was overtightened it is possible to strip the threads in which case the washer would free spin since there is no bite on the threads. When you get a chance check to see if the bolt can be turned easily. If it is still tight then it is probably ok but if it spins easily then we're probably going to have to repair your nozzle.

Thanks for the reply, I don't think it's stripped. I never snugged it down on the washer because I was worried it would be over tightened at that point. On typical installs do you snug the bolt down on the washer?

Sorry I have been away and haven't checked here lately. I did not over tighten mine and no free spin going on. I will check it again though.
