Hello all,
Just got a new to me 2015 AR192 and I have zero experience with boats. I have been searching the forums and have not been able to find a "how to" or guide for proper interior cleaning and upkeep. What products are best to protect the carpet and vinyl and prevent the sun from damaging either. Also, what do you all recommend to clean the interior? I am also wondering the same for the exterior. Thanks in advance!

Best way to keep interior from sun fading is make sure the boat is covered when not in use! I'm sure others will chime in on the cleaning supplies congrats on the new boat!

I like the Boat Bling products for cleaning. I use Hot Sauce and Vinyl Sauce every time we come off the water and it leaves the boat looking great. I also use the condition sauce about twice per season to really shine up the seats.

Magic Erasers work wonders on all surfaces. If I have a weird stain or mark show up, that usually takes care of it.

@Geoff Cooper recommended this as a vinyl cleaner and it works awesome too. It takes some serious elbow grease though.

I can't speak to the carpet, but for SeaDek either car wash or standard Dawn works.

Thanks for the input. I will have to check them out.

I am a huge fan of 303 aerospace protectant. I buy it by a gallon and use on vinyl and anything else interior except glass and SeaDek.

Just ordered the Boat Bling set from JetBoatPilot.com. Going to get her all cleaned up and ready for the water next week.

Dont waste your money on cleaning products with a "name." No need. Totally Awesome at a Dollar Store. Again, this is for cleaning only. For a cheap, quick in season wax?

It does not take alot of cash to keep a boat beautiful!

I will pick up some of the cleaner and give it a shot.

Love the Boat Bling products ... and my (adult) kids love the smell of that stuff!

x2 on Totally Awesome that @OCMD recommends. I would not put it on my vinyl seats and for that I would use soap/water, magic eraser sparingly, and 303 protectant

303 Aerospace protectant! Every other trip out ill wipe the seats down, top gelcoat and dash plastics and all vinyl and rubber.
