I replaced the pisser and bilge fittings on the side of my boat... After coming back last weekend, there was a "little" water on the starboard ballast bag... Is there a way to "force" the pissers to work under flush conditions so I can look for leakage out of the water??? Know I can and will check the bilge, but if it isn't the bilge, would like to check each pisser... Or do I just need to do it the next time I take her out??? Thanks much, Roger V

Once the t-stat opens there should at least be a dribble. I see mine working at about 25 psi on my lawn irrigation pump. I know my boat is different, though.

Didn't think to hook it up to my lawn pump, will give that a shot, thanks...

Disconnect the hose from the motor and connect your garden hose to it with a reducer . I have used this to blow out mud dauber nests this was on my older 2005 model they seemed to like that size hole for some reason . But this would be a great test for you

I fill up a 5 gallon pail, and then I drop in a $89.00 sump pump, hook it up, plug it in once the engine is running and I am all set! Water blasts out of the pissers and dribbles out the back end. Occasionally I take the compressor with a blow gun and spray air in the pissers, this reverses the flow and May clean out the filters, just my opinion!

Clamp off your inlet hose aft of the Y fitting it will force all water into engine instead of back flowing out the inlet at the nozzle

My hose has enough pressure to run pisser on one engine at a time. Like Scottintexas says clamping off the hose behind the Y connector forces all water through engine.....ANOTHER benefit it his method is all the costly Salt- Away product go through the engine where its needed.

My hose had enough pressure to keep them flowing on the TR-1 for my old boat, on the new boat not even a dribble.
