A friend of mine who is a wee bit larger than I am expressed some concern in regards to the ski locker door; he felt it flexing a bit when walking over it. I do notice it flexes a bit when I walk over it as well. Anything to be concerned about/anyone ever had any problems with the cracking or breaking at all? Searches haven't turned up anything so I'm not too concerned...

All of my hatches flex a bit when I walk over them. I do not know what they are rated for but they are expensive. You might suggest he will find firmer footing along the sides.
