It looks like at some point JBP made a fun basketball hoop that went on your table leg off the transom. I don't see it on their site anymore, does anyone have one they want to sell or know of anyone else that makes one?
 
I have one, but it was suction cup. JBP might still sell that.
 
I'm toying with that idea myself. Purchased a basketball hoop that hangs over the door. Plan on using PVC piping to slide over the table stanchion. Only needing a few other small key components to secure it all together. Wanting the finished product to look tastefully assembled, and to survive being kid (young adults) tested!
