At 62 I am new to boat ownership. I ended up buying a 1998 Alumaweld Stryker not running. Thought I could get it running myself, after all, I have worked on two stroke motors since I was a kid. Long story short, couldn’t do it. Had to repower. I will give the story on the Sport jet page(nuff said right?). We live in north Idaho, with the largest lake in the state half a mile from our driveway, so had to have SOMETHING to be able to get on the water with. Anyway hope to be an asset to the forum.

:Welcome:
We've lived near water for years too and boating is our way to have mini "stay-cations" every week and get away from the rat-race.
:D

I just turned 62 myself. Got my 2022 AR190 in December. First boat I ever owned, trailered, backed, driven, docked, etc. Been out ten times already. Loving it. Never too old to start.

:Welcome: I'm 66 and bought my boat last year for my retirement. I had boats in my 20's and 30's. Been a long time. Enjoy, it's never too late.
