I didnt see a post with my exact boat so im not sure if its the same. I have a 2006 sugar sands tango that ran dry with dirt in it (bought it this way for cheap) runs great and in great shape but only does about 15mph. i can visibly see dings on the impeller. Is this enough to make this issue? where do i get replacement parts? or who refurbishes these things? (im in michigan) Im not against putting a couple bucks into the boat since i got it cheap but dont want to overdo it.
ANY help is great as id love to take my kids out this summer lol

SugarSand mostly used Mercury SportJet pumps and Mercury Powerheads. There were a few older models with Force branded powerheads, but still using Mercury parts and SportJet pumps.

Confirm and then start looking. On that note, SportJet pump parts are difficult to find and expensive when you do find them. The impellers are one thing, but the wear ring is usually stainless steel. The next item is finding someone that will work on a Mercury Sportjet if you are unable to do it yourself. You may get lucky and find a SeaDoo dealer that will still touch it, as SeaDoo used Sportjet pumps/powerheads for a few years between their 2-stroke and 4-stroke days. Most will not touch them anymore.

Best of luck,
