jet ski blacked out

I made a mistake and turned the water on to flush the seadoo prior to starting the motor. Once i tried to start the ski the message board came on then went black. I charged the battery and still no message board. please help.

Doesn’t seem like the hose turned on should have caused that problem.

Check your battery connections, wiring and fuses.

Are you getting the confirmation beeps and hear the fuel pump when you put the key on the post? You should be old enough to have the DESS key.
