first mod finished. I used the gator guard brand. Got it on amazon. 1.5 hours and that included rounding up all the supplies that are scattered about my unorganized life and a couple trips down my big hill of a driveway to retrieve my roll of tape and creeper. Good thing the kids didnt see the creeper going down the hill or a trip to the hospital probably would have been next instead of the lake. straight forward directions and not to bad doing it alone. 20170531_120215.jpg

Looks like my photos double posted. still getting the hang of this forum.

you can see the dullness after it was prepped. no comets of the dirt

looks like that keel has seen some use!

What, no pic of the finished product?

With my motorcycle we would have get togethers to adjust valves we need to have a keel guard get together. I want one but scared to do it alone. The scuffing the boat is scary.

the guy who had this boat didn't beach it, he graveled it. the bottom was pretty scratched up,so scuffing was not to horrific. I completely forgot to take a shot of it done. it blends in really well. Kids were in a rush to get the wake foil in the water.
A keel guard party would be the way to do it. Assembly line style. the last one would be perfect or totally jack up depending the the beer flow.
