We are planning on going out on Lake DuBay tomorrow. Just got a tube so will be first time towing with our boat. Looking at the boating app seems like by the dam would be a good area to tow. Anyone able to confirm this or make recommendations?

Also, anyone have a map of good sandbars?

@anmut looks like you posted about dubay in the past.

We ended up finding a sandbar where a couple other boats were parked. Bridge is low, so needed to put the tower down to get over to that area. Used the county park (Dubay park and boat landing on map) to launch. Ramp was a bit short, but worked. Did our tubing from the area by that launch and along the shore near the dam like I was thinking (red line on map). Also had supper at Dock of DuBay, food was really good. Not a ton of info, but hopefully the next rookie finds this helpful!
