835 miles from Middletown, NJ to Lake Lanier (a budy of mine lives there). Lanier, is just north of Atlanta.

I kinda miss the atmosphere of Lanier. The poker run is always fun. I'm in sandy springs so lanier was very close

We bought on hartwell which is much quieter and I don't really miss the 50' sea rays creating 4-5' swells

Pretty sweet... The more and more I see these lake videos and all the parties, I feel like here in Jersey we have the most boring boating in the country!

Lake Lanier is where we do the majority of our boating...but we generally try to avoid these kinds of crowds. We did not even go out on Fri and Sat because of the large crowds. Most of the ramps on the south end of Lanier was full by 10:30am. Those Full Moon parties are insane. Sunset Cove is definitely the place to people/boat watch. We normally visit it often. We will try to come out there for the Poker Run to see all the Go Fast boats. Thanks for sharing the videos.
