How was Lake Powell? We will be making our second trip first week of September.

It was awesome @Sotally Tober We had great weather the whole week. With the water level rising as much as it is there is a ton of drift wood floating in the lake. Especially in warm creek. I actually had to pull my boat out of the water once to dislodge a piece from the grate side. Thankfully, we were dropping people off that only spent half the week so we were close to the launch ramp. Are you an owner of the Sotally Tober houseboat? It is by far, my favorite boat on the lake. We tried to find it a few times when we went to Antelope Point for fuel and ice but the slip was empty. Also, just a heads up gas is currently $3.89 at Antelope, $4.09 at Wahweap and $4.29 at Dangling Rope.

No we are not the owner, but we have seen it =) That is good news about the Lake level. We were last there back in 2013 and have finally made plans to return. We have a 59ft Discovery XL Houseboat rented out of Wahweap from 5-10 September. I'm stoked because this one has a flying bridge (2nd helm on top) so I'm not stuck below driving while everyone else is partying above. Glad to hear you had a good trip!

Nice! Its a great boat and they have remodeled those in the last couple years. Some in our group this trip rented the same boat and it was really nice. Have FUN!!!

Navionics is by far the best resolution map and chart plotter for Lake Powell. Just make sure you download your maps ahead of time.
