I'll start by saying that we love our 2014 Scarab 195 - great memories and family time.... but ...
has someone had trouble with the seal that joins the hull with the deck (covered by the chromed stripe)?
Our boat has been at the service shop since May due to this. It all started with a weird symptom, loss of power due to a mysterious mist in the engine compartment, open the engine cover and engine restores full power.
After a month and a half in service, the shop discovered that when the boat was running, water was leaking through the seal under the chrome stripe. Once the chrome stripe was removed, the mechanic could see from the inside outwards.
Anyone else with this problem or is it just lucky me?
