Lectrotab Auto Controller

I think that's normal.
Basically, with one tab deployed the boat will steer in that direction hard and a steering adjustment is necessary to keep it going strait - there will be a good amount of pull on the steering and if you let go of the steering wheel the boat will steer away towards the side of the tab deployed, quickly!

You might be over-tabbed but that may just mean smaller adjustments necessary. And you can plane at much lower speeds, too, which can be a big plus.

So when you guys are using the tabs to level the weight of the boat you are just fighting the steering wheel the whole time? That seems a little counter productive. The guys with auto controller do you feel this as well? If so it would seem that would make the control of the boat a little difficult.

Correct.
Doesn't feel like fighting it if adjustment is not huge, keep in mind the imbalance and list will also mess up your steering feel, in a major way. So - on balance, I say the tabs are a "must have". I use the tabs virtually every time I go out, most of the time to adjust attitude (to bow down a tad, usually).
With your much larger tabs, may need to use more moderation.

Any chance you can take the Warning off of the title of the post. It scared me for a minute.

Warning removed from post title as now working for me for many outings. Just don’t put this too close to other gps and emi transmitting equipment. Also don’t forget to shut off auto when doing tow sports.

With everything working perfectly on the auto controller now I do not find boat control or steering difficult when it corrects me for list. I do find that in rough conditions that I have to shut off auto and manually bury the bow. To my liking for those conditions. My tabs are a couple degrees more out off the water when retracted then recommended yet still 2/3 stroke is the most I have ever used. Nice knowing I have the extra if needed and quick to react needing less stroke.
