You will also need an RGB controller, also found on amazon but many choices.

Yep, was pretty darn simple. The only issue is that you need to wire a loop around the boat from speaker to speaker and then determine how you want the lights to come on. I powered mine off of the switch normally used for the small light by the throttle, and I no longer use that light. I didn't want a static white light by the throttles while running different colored lights.

Also wanted to throw out there that I went with the diablo royal drain plug lights, however I did the cheapest ones. I thin they were 800's or something to that effect. I opted to swap my plastic Yamaha drain plugs to the standard garboard brass plug just to have piece of mind that if I was ever in a pinch I could get a replacement plug almost anywhere. I will say, I enjoy the lights but sure wish I wouldn't have been cheap and gone for their higher end plugs, which I have also seen in person and they are fantastic. Keep in mind, with the newer ones as well you can easily still use them as a drain plug!
