Anyone install an LED light bar on their tower? In theory it seems like a good idea for night driving, small LED light bar to light the way.

Have front and rear lights on separate switches. I find rear lights more useful, and front lights most useful when approaching something at a very slow speed. When underway at night and with the boat squatted, the reflection of the white bow can blind you.

And those in the water around you. . . . . you definitely don't want to be the guy driving around with lights on ruining everyones night vision (and your own).

I agree with @David Analog -- Front facing is only useful when I am docking, or trying to find reflective objects like channel bouys. A hand held spotlight is better for forward searching. You can see my lights in this picture here -- Pretty simple -- Bar clamp and ATV Lights.
