Beautiful!!! Ya'll need a treehouse overlooking the lake.
Looks like they're one up from that. A house above the trees overlooking the lake. I think I'd mount my helm behind that window for the off season. :)

Nice! When you build your boat dock will you be able to see the boat from those windows? That would add to the security.

I might be tempted to cut that 1 tree down in the center of some of the pictures. When I get my lake property I guess I can make those decisions. Problem is the wife wants ocean property, not lake, so not sure that will ever happen.

Anyway, I can see why you moved there.

@Rana says it stays. There were two more of similar height that died so it may go eventually.

Cracks me up when I see all my friend's FaceBook from around there when there is a chance of snow.
It is funny to watch all the stories sell out as the snow starts falling. Most of the time people had plenty of time to stock up in advance.

We had a four day power outage during an ice storm in 2012. We had my parents and a nephew over so there were seven of us. My parents house had power so we could have gone there but we had a lot of fun having a four day indoor campout. We had family driving in from Kansas City the day the power came back on, I used our tractor to clear the trees and ice from a half mile of road to get them in here.
