probably a long shot but potentially getting ready to buy a new 2019 FX Cruiser HO. I really was looking for a left over 2018 or even a good condition used FXHO but there seems to be none in the market for sale reasonably close to me.

Anyone have one for sale on here before I buy new?

So far the norm seems to be $14,500 out the door for the cruiser HO including all tax, title, freight, and delivery to me. They are also throwing in 2 extra years of warranty (3 total). I got this same offer from 3 different dealerships so far.

14.5k Is not that bad for brand new, the 2019's are nice but if you are willing to hunt, deals can be found on 15's to 18's. I was looking for mine in 2016, was thinking about buying a new VX limited ($12,500 OTD) and ended up finding a 2015 FX SVHO with 7 hours on it for $13k with trailer.

I looked at the SVHO but based on feedback on this forum. I decided to go with the non supercharged one. The dealer I was just at told me the new ones are “maintenance free” whatever that means.

I don't blame you, I love having the supercharger for when I am at altitude (Lake Powell is almost 4k feet) but I run in line with most of the N/A HO's out there when at the river. I will admit, the extra cost of having to have and maintain a blow off valve system and the possibility of a 500 hour supercharger rebuild over my head is something I hate. I was just giving it as an example of what is out there and what you can find. When I was first in the market, something like an SVHO was not even on my mind due to the almost $18k OTD price in CA.

Don't be fooled, these skis are not "maintenance free" but if you are diligent about taking care of them (mine get new plugs, oil, and air filter every 50 hours or after 1 year, depending on what comes first), with normal lubrication of things in the pump (I check/add a little bit of marine grease to the cables, joints and RIDE system links every trip, just to keep everything running right), then you will get to about the closest thing to turnkey, 'maintenance free' operation every time you take it out.

Yamaha superchargers have always been maintenance free. Its not like Pre 2019 BRP chargers which require regular intervals to maintain them.

If you take care of a Yamaha supercharged ski and dont go crazy modding it the SC will last a long long time

Just to close this out. Decided to go new. Ended up getting 5 total years of warranty with new cover thrown in so for the price of the used ones I was seeing, buying new made more sense.

Dang I was just going to write you about mine I was going to offer. Busy schedule and I just saw this.
