Loosing settings on integrated GPS and other preferences

Hi Everyone, Just got my 242x 2020 a few days ago. The dealer told me to turn off both battery after each day of use. However by doing that I loose all the settings on the electronic (GPS waypoints, Bluetooth etc...). So any way around this or I am missing a settings to store these preferences? I keep the boat in the water all summer, in a marina.

The dealer's advice was correct, but it sounds like they hooked up the battery wrong. There is supposed to be one wire that goes to the battery when you wire up the switch. That wire provides power for the memory.

Unfortunately, I don't have a 2020, so I can't identify the wire for you. Anyone with a 2020 able to help there?
