Last weekend I was getting low voltage (7.9 volts) for the Aux Battery on my touchscreen. I replaced the battery and now it is showing 0.0 volts. Both batteries have about 12.9 volts with a meter and everything is working on the boat but I cannot clear the alarm or get it to read the correct voltage. Any ideas? Is there a fuse out or something to reset it? Thanks!

First: have you done the fix so that the Connext shows the proper battery voltage for both batteries?

Next: I know it sounds simple, and I don't mean to insult, but check the polarity on the new battery. You do have positive to the red and all of the wires that went with it on that side, with only the negative wires on the other side, right? We have had people who reverse it and ... things don't work right.

If both of those check out, then I would go to disconnecting both batteries, waiting 5 min at least, and reconnecting them to see if that helps. Again, sounds very simple, but sometimes it just needs a good reset.

Whoa, what is this? Now that you mention it, I have been looking at those voltages and frowning thinking it didn't look right to me.

Finally found the issue. One of the wires on the SCU was corroded and broke off inside the plug...

Good find!
This is a good reason why all plugs should be checked and greased with dielectric grease
