Some of the launch ramps around my river place get really flat when the river drops. Some are bad because they have big drop offs at the "end" which should really be 5' farther out. I've really nailed it in reverse and struggled a lot before I got it off. As anyone installed a roller they can lift or cam up, to help the boat slide off? Any other tips? My boats still down for the count, but I'm fine stacking projects on top of projects!

had the same problem. trailer fenders submerged, full reverse nothing. had to push it off the trailer by brute force, which isn't much coming from me...

I spray the bunk board (the front ones but you can do both) with liquid rollers its a lube spray. Really does seem to work.

Thanks for the liquid roller tip! I might also add a second winch under the main. I'll put a pulley on the lower support and then back to the bow eye. I could crank it off the trailer using that winch. I'll probably be doing everything solo unless I bring a friend that knows what's up. Last weekend I borrowed a 19' open bow IO. I had the excursion about 1-2" from taking water in the trunk, had it maybe 2500 rpm in reverse, sawing the steering wheel, and rocking the boat. Glad I made it because there were 6+ boats in line behind us!

Ill warn you try loading it the first time with a helper because after I used the spray lube after the boat touched the front roller if I backed off the throttle boat would slide back down. It wouldn't do this before. But I use a steep ramp maybe yours won't do that. Don't completely undo front strap either until you have it in the water in case it slides off. That is the reason I only spray the front.
