I have a pair of M282 Rockford Fosgate tower speakers. I noticed that both have water in them. Does anybody else have the same problem. The rubber sealer is not a good seal, and once the connecting tube fills up with water, it eventually seeps into sealed can and rusts.....

Still a great sounding speaker....

I think I'm gona need to dismantle and seal it from inside.

[USERGROUP=3]@Administrative[/USERGROUP] i believe this needs to go to electronic/audio.

@Blazin14 do you have a picture of the can or area. You may have to seal it a different way or make your own gasket. I can't be much help but other members might once moved.

See pictures.....the water is not leaking where the speaker mounts to the enclosure.....its leaking at the top where it mounts to the tower and where the wires enter the can. You can see I caulked inside and out side....

Project update. Repainted connection tubes, and added gasket at top to help seal from the top.

Still wondering if anybody else has the same problem?
