Majestic Hotel, Hot Springs, AR Burning

The Majestic was one of the largest old hotels in our city. It was featured on the Abandoned tv show last year. In it's hey day presidents and gangsters stayed there.

Tonight it is ablaze

Was that hotel still in service? Last time we were in Hot Springs we stayed at the Arlington. I remember we checked at several other old hotels before settling at the Arlington and I'm wondering if the Majestic was one of them.

It was built in the 1890s and shut down in 2006. The Arlington is the most famous of our older hotels. It has burned down twice I believe.
