I’ve got a 1997 Euroline Cyclone with a Merc 175xr2 Sport Jet, and I am getting no spark. I spun the engine over by hand with the flywheel and I heard some bad grinding and clanking noises coming from under the flywheel so I removed it and found that the magnets had all detached and so I cleaned up both the stator and flywheel and epoxied the magnets back to the flywheel and I am still getting no spark. I was wondering if anyone knew specifically how to test the stator (it was pretty chipped up) or the spark box, or had a lead on where I can get tools to test this.
