Might be going to the dark side...Yep - doing it; PICS of new boat!

I can't believe how far back you are. Is that typical?

Yes, Jim. That's typical of surfing behind the inboards. And the wave is useable almost all the way up to the platform.

Tower speakers are an option (one of the few things that are optional, actually), but I don't think I"ll get them. I'm not a huge fan of broadcasting music across the lake. Also, as a practical considderation, my boat sits in a slip all summer and I can see those expensive tower speakers being a theft magnet. the stock in-boat system is killer - all Exile audio, 4 6.5s, 2 8s, and a 12" sub. Sounds awesome.

I've looked at many brands but have only demo'd the MB as it's the only one I'm serious about at this point.

I just stumbled on this today while researching wake surfing. Anyone try this boat? I can't believe how awesome this boat looks and I can only imagine how it feels to be riding in one. WOW! If Batman wakesurf'd this be his boat!!!

Got out and did some surfing with some friends this morning. Folsom Lake is dropping fast but conditions were great this morning!IMG_0161.JPGIMG_0160.JPG

So far I've been able to surf as far back as maybe 20 feet from the back of the platform, but it is very easy to lose the wave back there so it's necessary to be in exactly the right spot or moving forward to gain speed.

nice to have push and lengthy wave isnt it? boat and wave look good

Yeah...I know this is an ancient thread and not even about a jet, but as a former regular here I IMG_4017.JPG but just thought I would check in. 100 hours on the MB now and love it more each time we use it! Had fun surfing it last Sunday until we ran the tank dry and had to get a tow!
