Motors wont reach same rpm

Had the fsh 210 out a bunch this weekend. For the most part it ran great, but on my way back to the dock today, the port motor would only reach 7300 rpm while the starboard motor would get to around 8100
No blockage in the pump area, no missing or anything like that
Both idled good etc... any ideas on what it could possibly be?

I had the same issue my first time out, the throttle cables are not adjusted properly from the factory (go figure its built in the US), my starboard throttle was set too loose and would not hold. I would guaranty you that is your problem.

Thanks that does make sense based on how it has been driving and how the bouncing of the boat affects the throttles on both sides
What did you do to address it? If you dont mind me asking...

I took it to the dealer and had them fix it, had the boat back in 24 hrs, of course it is a pain in the ........ to drive it there but that's why we buy new boats, so the dealer can deal with the issues LOL

I thought people buy new so that there are no issues...

Weird how the bar is so low for a Yamaha...

Thanks upnorth! I appreciate that! I knew it was a easy fix but it was dark when I covered her up monday night so it was gonna be something i looked at this weekend
And your right clemson tiger, there shouldnt be issues with a new boat
But something this minor i would prefer to tackle myself anyways so i dont miss any lake time

My port motor is faster then my starboard.
Something with the intake angle, both cables hit the stop. There is also a rev limiter, it is awesome I was going into a chop full out and jumping and it would cut and start way quicker than we ever could using the throttles years ago. port 8,000 starboard 7,800 doing 45.7MPH.
are u guys without the T-Top going faster?
