That is a crazy price, they really don't want your business. The local shop is used built my new bimini made out of sunbrella with a matching boot for $300.
This triggered me to call about a new Bimini top. The first place I called (boat specialist) wanted $600 for Sunbrella Bimini though they zipper every pole for easy removal. I don't really need that so I sent photos to a local upholstery shop to see if it is more reasonable. Hope so.
I checked with a local canvas shop here in cincy, they want $500 -$1000 to make a new bimini, so I'm just going to buy one from Yamaha Sports Plaza. How hard is it to replace the top? Does the frame come apart easily?
Thank!
