Need help check engine light.

I have a 2014 seadoo spark 3up 900
Check engine light is on as well as exhaust temp high. When in water it wouldn't go no where, would just rev up and make beeping noise


So I'm guessing it needs the exhaust temp sensor.
I replaced that, now how do I clear the check engine light?

Also how do i verify they sensor solved my issue, prior to getting in water.
