Guys need help! Ran into some rocks with jet boat causing deep scratch. Can I fix with Marine Tex? Will it be ok with Marine Tex? Just got the boat and needs to last awhile.. Or does this need to be done by professionals?
I agree with @Mainah, the Chine has been damaged. It will take at least a layer of epoxy possibly with microballoons to build it up so it can be sanded back into shape. And then color match gelcoat.
