Hello to the collective group. We just purchased a 2007 Tango Xtreme (yellow) with the 210 engine - it was in exceptionally good shape, and we were able to test it on a lake before purchase, so we are reasonably comfortable with what we're getting into (though we know there will be some challenges!).
Our boat apparently was first in Minnesota, before being taken to Arizona where its traceable history begins. The dealer who took it as a trade-in then (about 2012 or so) then sold it to a customer who traded it back in to them 5 or 6 years later - and then did it again with another customer for about the same amount of time before se bought it (can be checked in CA ownership records). To date, owners claim only fresh water use, and the engine bat and other storage areas are exceptionally clean for a boat this age. Some crazing in the gel coat, but nothing where you can feel breaks in the surface.
Might have liked to get the 240 in order to have EFI (I really don't like carbs any more), but none of those were available near us.
Let me know your thoughts on the boat, and I've already begun scouring the threads for the collective wisdom and experience here!
