Well ladies and Gents, my wife and I have made the decision to turn in the 195 HOI for a new boat. I really hate to give her up, but it has taken its toll on us. I don't have the confidence in the dependability of the engine. But, with that said, I will still see you out on the Gulf or the Santa Rosa Sound with my 2018 Sea Hunt CC. I do have a trailer cover for sale and two Scarab jackets (used) if anyone is interested (PM me for price).

once it starts requiring a toll on you and you lose confidence it's definitely time to move on,

Good luck with the new boat, keep us updated on your experiences with it,

Congrats on the new boat. What kind of power did you get?

Sorry to hear that @Slugger55 . I'm always in the Gulf, Crab Island, or the Sound. Keep an eye out for me in the area and say HI with your new boat.

Nice. My dad had something with twin Yamaha 140 two strokes in the early 90s. Yamaha outboards are pretty cool. Congrats again.

@Slugger55 I look forward to your feed back on that boat I'm considering an upgrade to the 255 SE. The 18 degree dead rise concerns me a little in the rough so hope to hear how yours treats you.

The most important feature on a boat is reliability I realized that when I purchased a new Kawasaki ultra 250 and found it in the shop more than in the water I practically gave it away because I hated it and I will never even consider anything with the name KAWASAKI on it again. My Yamahas for the most part have been exceptionally reliable So this is what I continue to purchase for that reason.

I’ve never owned a Kawasaki watercraft but they make one hell of a lawnmower engine ;)
