How much two-stroke oil should I use for every full tank of gas used on my 2000 sl2000 yamaha twin jet boat?

glad to have you on board @Joe Costa

I'm sorry I don't have an answer for you,

How long have you owned your boat? have you upgraded the oil lines ?

maybe @4x15mph or @Speedling can help,

Depends on how fast you go! It is a variable speed pump and is not always directly related to gas consumption.
I upgraded my lines and forgot about it. I did check that oil was coming through lines since they were clear/yellowish and i could see it. If worried, make a little premix and run it till you are sure. You want to run premix if taking a line off to see it come out.

Why do you ask? Something worry you?

Just would like to know what the oil consumption should be per a avrage tank of fuel.

I am sorry, i never kept track. I more or less just verified it was using it.

I have not really kept track of oil consumption, just that it was using it. What I can tell you is if you use these boats for what they were intended, "going very fast a lot" you will burn a heck of a lot more gas than you will oil. Which I am 100% ok with..

Sorry I forgot, WELCOME!!!!! @Joe Costa Glad to have you here..

Are you talking about for pre-mixing?

If using the oil injection, I think it is about 50:1 gas to oil except for at idle since the pumps are variable. You have a 40 gallon tank so less than a gallon (.8) of oil for each tank
