So I'm getting ready to change my oil filters and came across an old thread that said the part number is 69J-13440-03-00. Is that correct? Also I assume they just unscrew and I screw on the new ones?
Where's the best place to purchase the filters? I've googled them, but I don't know any of the websites that came up. I need a reputable company to order from. Thanks in advance for your help.

Danny @DawgDaze just bought two Yamaha filters for our boat yesterday at Temecula Motorsports here in town, the P/N shown on our receipt is: 5GH-13440-20-00..now, I don't if it's the same part for your engine though. We've never bought them online.

Yes, they unscrew and screw back on. I go with the Yamaha oil filters from the local Yamaha shop. Cost a little more but I hear it's worth it because of a specific material used in the filter. Others use K&N (?) filters that are good also. Not sure where to order them.

@Joshb723 ... K&N 303 is what I'm going with on mine. Found them on Amazon for 11.26 and free shipping. Not to say that's what will fit yours.

I also use the K&N 303. I just order them from an auto parts store. My yamaha motorcycle dealer carries them in place of yamaha filters. I dont have a yamaha boat dealer. Cam.

For my AR240, I found:

#Oil_filter Yamaha 69j-13440-01-00, Fram PH3614, Wix 51348 Mobil M1-102

Not sure if yours are the same engines. You can always read the number off the old ones. If it is one of these, you can cross reference. I used the Mobil ones this time, as they are high performance filters. Auto Zone, where I got them, I think...
