IMG_0650.pngI saw some oil at the bottom of the engine bay, and I think it’s coming from the oil dipstick tube, not 100% sure yet. Has anyone had this problem? I think I saw there’s an o-ring in there but not sure if it’s as simple as replacing the o-ring. I’m picking up the boat this weekend and bringing it home.

Should be a clamp around the rubber collar start with that, clean off an check after the next time you run it

Will do, thanks for the response Neutron

I kind of clean it a bit this last weekend, ran it for the day and did notice it was wet again. The clamp seemed fine but I didn’t remove it or anything like that. I searched the forums and didn’t find anyone with the same issue.

I just saw recently someone having a similar issue, but am having trouble relocating the post. I'll keep searching and hopefully find it.

Are you sure its not fogging oil. If rain water gets in it can make the oil pool up in areas after the water evaporates

No, I don’t think it’s not that, I cleaned it and after a day of use there was oil in that area again. I’ll look at it again this weekend. Thanks Cambo
