Hi Everyone--
I have a 2008 SX 230 which runs really great. The last couple of times out, upon starting and warming engines, the port side oil pressure light comes on. After warming the engine, I turn it off, turn back on and the light goes out.
However, last time out, upon accelerating, the light came on again and the boat ran a little rough. Turned engine off, turned back on, the light was off and the boat ran fine.
Any ideas what might be causing this?
Thanks,
Dan

Have you checked the oil? When was the last time that the spark plugs were changed? Any recent work to the boat done?

Yes, oil is fine (have it changed every year) and had new spark plugs put in at the beginning of the season.

You could try so swap sensors with the other engine to see if it follows the sensor or stays with the port engine

Was oil filter changed?

Where is the oil pressure sensor located? I’m having a similar issue with my port motor.
