Anyone getting out to Tenkiller this weekend or next? Getting stir crazy.....

We were on Skiatook last Saturday. Water was too cold for water sports but the day was stunning. Lake was hopping. Temps only look like high 60's this weekend so I doubt we will be going out again.

I just saw the weather for the weekend. Looks like rain at the end of this week and rain all through the first part of next. Made the decision to take our boat in for an oil change and a few other little things. Maybe the follow weekend.

Do any of you go out on Grand Lake? Would a 24ft even survive?

My wife and I have never been there with our boat but we have been told that the wakes from the big and fast boats there are tough.

When the wooden boat show meets this year, I am sure we will try to put our boat on it but other than that we don’t have a leisure trip planned for grand.
We are sticking to Tenkiller and then doing a lot of searching for lake lots at Beaver this year.

Tenkiller, by-the-way, is a nice lake. Really cool people in the party cove, good marinas, and clear.

I've run 17' fishing boats out there for years without any concerns. Wakes can get big on windy days but I feel safer on that lake then I do Lake of the Ozarks.
