Finally got our 212X out for the first time on Lake Wallenpaupack in Pennsylvania. First time ever launching/driving/loading a jet boat, so it was quite an experience. When I first backed off the trailer, I have to be honest, I thought what did I get myself into. Thought we would go to the quiet, far end of the lake so I can learn the boat a little better and immediately sucked up a stick. Happy to say it was pretty much smooth sailing after that. Got used to the characteristics of a jet boat and I’m sure with time can get on top of it. A little windy and choppy so getting it back on the trailer was a pretty big concern, but it went smoothly. Huge thanks to Franco from the Redneck Yacht club out of the Lehigh Valley. Tons of advice and actually got to meet up with him for a few minutes on the lake yesterday.
